Fail over Clustering

Post by connetuk »

Hi, I am trying to make a failover cluster using two servers and a file server which has been raid 10. We are a hosting company and require 24/7 up time. Am I correct in thinking that mail will still be sent and received if the storage failed for whatever reason e,g mother board failure.?

Hi,

If the store server (NAS) goes down then no messages can be delivered to the mailbox folder. You also need to consider a fail over for the store server.
