function of dismiss in system messages

As a non native english speaker i struggle what the 'dismiss' button at the system messages will do..
does it clear the temporary block from the IP address listed and dismissed?
if so.. is it just 'dismissed' once? (so it can be blocked again in the future)..

or can i only unblock these ip addresses via the localhost-policy screen?

Hi,

The "Dismiss" button will only dismiss the notification in the system message list. It will not unblock IP addresses.
