Good Morning Ian
I just copied the mewebbin_1043 to one server I manage and that fixed that one.
I then copied that fix over to our own personal mail server and it caused the web mail to come up with an error. I just restored 1043 back on that server to fix it.
Is that patch dependent on the mail server?
Both of these mail servers are Dell Power edge 2950 with dual cpu's and 16 gig of memory.
Thx

Re: 1043 not allowing to forward email
Error details would be helpful, but I would verify that both machines are actually running 10.43 - and that the IIS configurations match for both webmail sites.

Re: 1043 not allowing to forward email
It looks to me as the machines not running the 1043 patch have Mail Washer Server running on them. I have no idea why that would make any difference. Just a thought.
Where is that error file located. I am guessing you are working on permanent fix and it will be out soon.

Re: 1043 not allowing to forward email
The error was due to a build problem where it was referencing the wrong version of a DLL. We had updated the installation kit, but if you have the problem then using the download will resolve it. We've only seen an issue with the zip fix not working if it is extracted to the wrong location and appears to not do anything. If you have the problem and cannot resolve just submit a support ticket so we can fix it for you.
