Where is the configuration of meroute stored?
I noticed that the smart host settings are kept but sometimes the meroute checks are lost. So the smart host does not work.

The option for the route change is in the postoffice configuration file. So this is the file:
Mail Enable\Config\Postoffices\[postoffice]\POSTOFFICE.SYS
The option is "RouteBiasMode". So you should see an entry:
RouteBiasMode=1
It can only be set or disabled with the utility. Check to see if it is RouteBiasMode=0. If it is missing, then it would indicate the configuration file has been reverted/restored somehow, rather than the option being disabled.
