Hi
I can't get the indexing service to start on ME Professional 10.47.
Error thrown is that the file Nemis.exe can't be found at it's prescribed location after installing the package.
Any clue as to why the file should be missing?
Regards
John

In the Services control panel applet, check to see what path if set for the "MailEnable Indexing Service". It should be:
Mail Enable\bin64\MEMIS.EXE
Where this will be under the directory you installed it to. Verify that the file MEMIS.EXE exists on the server under that path. Did you have a previous installation and then change where it was installed to?

Hi
The path is Mail Enable\bin64\MEMIS.EXE, but the file is not in the directory. It is a new installation.
I have searched for MEMIS.EXE in the Mailenable directories, but it's not there. Reinstall?

Very strange. I reinstalled the program, MEMIS.EXE was restored to it's rightful place, and the service started.
Moot point, but its absence is confusing. All's well that ends well tho', so thanks for the help
