Attachment dosent work in webmail

When I tru to attach a file in the webmail I always get an asp session timeout error:

Error MEUP001: The ASP Session expired during the upload.
Error: 007~ASP 0104~Operation not Allowed~
The attachment could not be added to the message.

How can i fix this?

My Mac clients (using IE or Safari) experience this but only with relatively large attachments (>2M). It is not about really about timeouts (at least not server-side; our servers are set to 30 minutes [1800 seconds]) and the message appears much earlier. Any light would be most useful.
