Diagnose outbound probs

I have a customer complaining that mail is not getting out. I’m checking the ‘Debug Log’ and I see entries for those messages like this:
09/14/04 01:30:09 ME-I0149: 3FA4B6C07BF74EC8A7D576EFF6C47C.MAI was dispatched successfully
But they do NOT have a message like Send Completed Successfully

Does this mean that the message was not successfully sent?

p.s.: I’m asking because I see that other sent messages have a line:
09/14/04 01:30:09 ME-I0049: [23523AA3B1094EF68488C3A3E3E49.MAI] Send Completed Successfully
But the problem messages don’t have a line like this – so what’s the difference between a successful ‘dispatch’ and a successful ‘send’?
