Post by spraguey » Fri Nov 19, 2004 2:49 pm

When composing a message, all users get the following error when clicking on the attachment link...

MEWebMail error '800a004c'

Path not found

/MEWebmail/base/enterprise/lang/EN/Forms/MAI/ListAttachments.asp, line 238

This is a new install of Enterprise on Win2K

Reason: IME_ADMIN account does not have the ability to create the drafts folder for that particular mailbox on the message store.

Perhaps you have migrated data and the message store does not have permissions set correctly.

Use the CALCS command (search the KB for exactly that word) and reference the article on Migrating. It will give you a command line for resetting the permissions for the postoffice.

CALCS?

There is no KB article that matches the search for CALCS, as suggested.

However, your suggestion that it had to do with permissions did help me correct the problem. The iMail to MailEnable converter put incorrect permissions on the message store folders. Correcting the permission fixed the problem.

Oops - CACLS (I meant rather than CALCS!)
