Cannot receive mail

I have ME Pro with Plesk 7.0.3 on Windows 2003 server.

My clients can't receive mail with POP or IMAP. The system keep asking for a username/password.

I also can't see the anti-virus tab.

Does anyone know what's going on on my server???

Hi,

For your problems with IMAP and POP not being able to authenticate, ensure you are using the correct login credentials (example: Mailboxname@Postofficename). The following KB article explains how to correctly setup your email client:

For the AV tab missing, are you referring to the old AV tab in the MTA agent? If so then the AV filtering mechanism has chnaged in the new version so that you need to create a filter for the AV to work. You find the AV configuration window in the bottom of the MMC, under "Filters".

I did all this. Checked it all but it still doesn't work.

SMTP is running: rome.hotwire.nl:25
POP is running: rome.hotwire.nl:110

The virusscanner works....
