Hi,

Try reviewing the following KB article for some help:

Check your log files for an indication why the messages are getting stuck. Usually when sending to Hotmail or yahoo etc, accounts they require you having a PTR record. More information on how to obtain a PTR record can be found in the article below:

Mail not going through to hotmail

Post by Guest »

Thanks or your reply.. I seem to have been unfortunate enough to have the Netsky virus find its way into my network.. up on further checks I realise that my IP was Black listed. I am trying to get a command line scanner in place. I have Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition v9.0 but I can't seem to get the command line scanner to work.. Any Suggestions?..

Thanks

Go to the McAfee site and download their standlong program "Stinger" (I think its called) which will removed the latest viruses.

All reports that I have received indicated that the Norton Corporate v9 did not come with the command line scanner. Possibly if you contact Symantec they may be able to ship it too you and let you know if it is working with the latest release.
