Web mail read email problem

hi there,

this problem has become a right pain in the bum for me due to the sheer volume of customer queries coming thru with the same issue. it isnt a fault of mailenable, rather some over zealous piece of spyware protection software i guess. but here's the problem:

when the user visits webmail, they can see the email list no problem, but clicking on an email does not reveal the message body in the preview pane below, it simply stays blank. the only recourse is a right click on the message title and then "open in a new window". in firefox the problem is non-existent, but on some IE machines, it's there in force. any ideas why anti-spyware is blocking the content (is it an iframe perhaps), and any ideas how to prevent it. any comments much appreciated! thanks for your time...

I've seen this when the client is using Norton Internet Security. Have them disable internet security and try. If that resolves it, have them add the webmail site to their allow list in Norton.
