.NET API to get messages/attachments

Postby cwineman » Fri Apr 09, 2010 1:46 pm

I was considering using the .NET MailEnable APIs (Administration Assembly and Store API) for a project I'm working on.

I noticed the following line in the documentation for the .NET Store API:

The .NET Store API does not currently provide a means of
accessing messages themselves.

Is that accurate? You really can't use the API to access messages, attachments and whatnot. Is there a different API provided that will do this?

Personally I would use the API to find the mail and then read it off the directory directly.

all the best
