Hi all
We just discovered that we had an open relay via a mail-proxy that we have placed in front of MailEnable where we had 127.0.0.1 as an privileged IP. In this way we had an open relay for 2 days.
We now have an outgoing mail folder with 40.000 or so emails, many of them are spam emails. We cannot just delete them all, because there are valid emails between and we cannot just send them all due to the risk of being blacklisted and there are too many to do it manually.
Does anyone have some good ideas to what we could do?

You should use the "MailEnable Queue Clean Utility".
http://www.mailenable.com/addons_Management.asp
1. Stop the smtp service
2. Inspect one of the message contents and locate a phrase that identifies it as spam
3. Use this as the search string to delete the e-mails from the queue.
4. Start the smtp service
