We're currently on an old ME v2 Enterprise, and many of our postoffices have recently (~3mo.) been getting absolutely blasted with spam.
Is v7's anti-spam capabilities vastly improved over v2?
We also run a SpamWord filter, but it has far too many false-positives, and hate that clunky solution, and it and ME v2 is such a burden right now.
Is it worth upgrading to ME v7, or should I be looking at SM or another solution? Godaddy or other hosted solution? Anyone have experience to compare the two?
We must upgrade to something to fix our spam issues, especially in light of the recent vulnerability announcement (whatever it is).
I appreciate your insight.

How good is anti-spam in v7 vs v2 enterprise - upgrade?
Re: How good is anti-spam in v7 vs v2 enterprise - upgrade?
I have it Spam Assassin working quite well with 7.07. It is catching about 95% of all spam with Default Spam Assassin settings. If you tweak it can gets about 99.9% with about a 5 message per 10000 message miss rate. I have an email posted someplace here about how I set up Spam Assassin on 7.07.
