I've got a mailbox that's over 7GB on the server and would like to delete emails older than 90 days.
If I delete it on the server, will IMAP synchronise the delete on Outlook, iPhones etc?

Re: Deleting Large Email History
Hi,
If you delete the .MAI files (messages) manually in the mailbox folder you need to then place a _change.dty file in the folder so that the _index.xml file is updated otherwise the IMAP clients will not synchronize the deletions. The _change.dty file is simply an empty text file you can create in Windows Notepad. Just save the file as: _change.dty
