Emails Solution & License Requirement

Post by ajay.bhat »

Hi,

We hope you are doing well.

One of our customers is using emails solutions however they are using open source solution with 35000 users having 2 domains[/size].

20000 users are on one domain and 15000 users are on another domain. (Approx. 20,00,000 Emails per month for both domains).

They are looking for a reliable mailing solutions and we offered them with Mailenable as an email solution.

Now in order to fulfil their requirements we need to design a solution so need your help in doing so and following are our queries:

1. Which version of Mailenable is capable enough to handle 35000 users? With 500 MB mailbox quota each.
2. How many software licenses we require?
3. What would be the system requirements?
4. Do we need any load balancer?
5. Can we create different servers basis different protocols, For Example, One for Webmail, One for POP, one for SMTP and Mailbox Storage and How software license will work in this scenario?
6. Do we have to consider Disk IOPS as well?

In case you have any presentation, documents or guidelines, or any predefined solution you can also share it with us.

PLEASE NOTE: They are not running any commercial campaigns, bulk mails, etc. they are one of the big manufacturers having genuine day to day emails.
