reset mailbox lockout through webmail

Post by delta2 »

We currently set

Lock out user for one hour after [50] failed login attempts

However this causes problems to legitimate users whose mailboxes are subject to hack attempts. They have to call us to get us to unlock their mailbox manually.

Why not lock out "POP3" "IMAP" "SMTP" but if a user logs into WEBMAIL he gets a screen to unlock his own account.

Thanks. Ciao. Stuart

Any plans for this "lockout reset" feature in the future ?

Currently having big problems with hackers and spammers locking out client mailboxes.

Does anyone from Mailenable read or reply to the Suggestion section of the MailEnable Discussion Forum ?

If not, not much point in it ! . Ciao. Stuart
