If I understood http://kb.odin.com/en/122214 right the outgoing SMTP port can be changed to 587.
What is the default when installing version 9 please?
If the default is not 587 could it be made so in the next version?

Hi,
Default port is always 25. Changes to make the default port to 587 will not happen. You will need to follow the steps in the article to change the SMTP service to listen on the alternative port. If you then upgrade MailEnable it will retain the configuration settings for the SMTP service.
