Junk Email

Post by SpammersMustDie »

Ok, so prior to 3.04(5), I used MEFilter to move suspected spam to each users spam folder on the server. Now ME has it's own function to do that.

First Question/request:
Is there a method to select this option on a mailbox by mailbox basis.
If not, could you please add it. I have one user (management level) who requests no filtering of his email at all (idiot), whilst all others love the filtering that is done server side. It appears to me that this is enabled/disabled at the post office level only

Second Question/request:
Is there a place where I can change the Junk email folder name? All our documentation (and some other vb scripts I run) revolve around a folder called 'spam'. It would be nicer to have the option to change the folder name at the admin level to 'spam' rather than have to change all subsequent scripts and documentation.

1st Answer:

The best way is to enable it at a post office level as usually most people are happy with the process. For mailboxes that are using pop or are not wanting to use the process then you can set up a mailbox level filter to copy all messages that get delivered to the Junk E-Mail folder to the Inbox folder.

Criteria:
Where the header contains *Deliver-To=Junk*
Action:
Move to Inbox

2nd Answer:
Sorry this is not an option at this time.
