TLS/SSL Inbound SMTP

Post by sbpascal »

I have been using mailenable for some time now. I am currently planing an upgrade to Version 6. In this upgrade I would like to change the network a bit.

There are 2 inbound ports at the moment

25 - TlS Optional
465 - SSL Forced + Login to send

i would like to use the more standard submission port while maintaining the 465 port for existing configurations. I was able to add port 587 via the registry hack. I would like to however force TLS on this port so plaintext logins will be denied. Such that it is as illustrated below.

25 - TLS Optional + Login Optional
465 - SSL Mandatory + Login Needed
587 - TLS Mandatory + Login Needed
