"You are not permitted to post to the list" to postmaster

Post by AlDo » Tue Mar 26, 2013 9:22 am

I have several lists unmoderated and closed that generate an unexpected notification each post.

Each member can send messages to the list and these are regularly delivered, but each sending a notification like below is sent to the postmaster of the main domain.

Please note that the postmaster of the main domain is neither a member nor moderator of the domain which the lists belong.
>>>
FORM: listname@otherdoman.tdl
TO: postmaster@maindomain.tld
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MailEnable: You are not permitted to post to the list (listname@otherdoman.tdl).

This list may be password protected, or you may need to have previously subscribed to the list in order to post to it.

Important: This list does not allow subscriptions using the subscribe command.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<<<

The lists are not password protected but only members can post.

Have you an idea of why this useless as boring notification is generated?

Thanks for any help.
