ME 8.01 - Webmail not working (fresh install)

Hi, I have just installed ME 8.01 Enterprise Edition in a brand new Windows 2008R2 Server. Setup process went through without any problem. After installation, I configured the host for the webmail and when I type in that host in my browser I get this error message in my browser:

404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.



My guess?
The MEAppPool. By default ME 8.01 installs the Application Pool to use .NET 4.0.
When I change it to 2.0, I don't get the 404 error, but instead a Runtime Error.



What could be wrong in my setup or what do I have to do in order to make Webmail works?

Rerun the IIS setup again manually. It will fix any permission issues.

I already did it with MEInstaller. I executed:
. WebMail Installation
. WebAdmin Installation
. Reset IIS Virtual Directory Configuration settings for ASP/ASPX Platform (here I selected Framework Version 4.0 32-Bit)

After these, I restarted IIS and still getting the 404 error.

What am I missing?

I made it work! In the MEAppPool instead of selecting Framework Version 4.0 32-Bit, I selected Framework Version 2.0 64-Bit, restarted IIS and it works.

Now my question is, why bothering in installing the MEAppPool natively with Framework Version 4.0 (when installing MailEnable Enterprise) if it doesn't work?
