MESMTPCS appears to be having difficulty processing the OQ

Hello, I have installed ME 8.01 Enterprise Premium and I am seeing a lot of this messages under SYSTEM MESSAGES:
Message: MESMTPCS appears to be having difficulty processing the outbound queue.

Parameters
----------
Violated Threshold: Maximum Value
Violated Threshold Value: 00:20:00
Value: 18:59:00.6875000 (19.0h)

Time: 2/4/2014 5:18:35 AM
Severity: Warning
Postoffice:
Mailbox:

However, looking at the specific queue mentioned (MailEnable_Install_Folder > Queues > SMTP > Outgoing > Messages) there is nothing. Zero messages or files are sitting there.

So what does that message mean? And how I can solve it? Thank you!

Hi,

The notification was sent from the MEtray alerter option. The alerter monitors the queue activity and will alert the notification address when a rapid increase of the queue length is detected. The threshold values are hard coded and cannot be changed in current revisions. The queue may have been triggered because the threshold was violated and the messages were then processed anyhow.

Violated Threshold Value: 00:20:00

This is showing that monitor has a threshold of 20 hours, so would mean nothing has gone through the outbound queue for 20 hours.

"nothing has gone through the outbound queue for 20 hours" is impossible. There is always mail going through, still the message appears.
