Outlook 2013 still crashing using activesync :(

I've pretty much abandoned Outlook 2013. I've deleted and reinstalled my account with 30 day sync numerous times and it works for about a month and then started crashing again.

I read somewhere that it might have something to do with video card but that isn't it either. I've built new computer, new video card, fresh Windows 7 install with Office 2013 and still the same problem.

Should I give up trying to make this work? Does anyone know if this is a ME or Outlook problem?

I had a similar issue, it turned out to be that Outlook 2013 has issues with SSL, if you don't have one it will crash, or say it can't contact the server. I had one, and for whatever reason 2013 didn't like it. I ended up abandoning Outlook 2013. It works good for IMAP and POP accounts, but not Activesync, unless you are running an actual Exchange server.

I do have an SSL for the server but that's discouraging news.

Interestingly, I found that I didn't have any activesync issues Windows 8 email app.

I found that as well, with the built in mail app and calendar app on both windows 8.1 and windows 10. Activesync works good on both, with or without an SSL.
