Hi
I am using mailenable 9.01
I have 2 problems:
1: I have enabled DSN and confirmed that it is enabled but still it does not send delivery notifications.(see below) - http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Ar ... D=me020607
2: Read Receipts are not send via web mail. It asks me if I want to send it, then show a small popup that it is sending it, but it is not actually sending it
here is my test to see if the DSN extention is enabled. as you can see the DSN extention is there

Re: DSN Messages & read receipts
Hi,
rcpt to:<test@mailenable.com.au> NOTIFY=SUCCESS
The DSN option is not a fully supported feature within MailEnable. While we provide the ability for DSN's it may not work in some scenarios with some servers. You would need to inspect your SMTP activity log files to see if the remote server is requesting the delivery notifications by adding the "NOTIFY=SUCCESS" within the RCPT command. I.e:1: I have enabled DSN and confirmed that it is enabled but still it does not send delivery notifications.(see below) - http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Ar ... D=me020607
rcpt to:<test@mailenable.com.au> NOTIFY=SUCCESS
Please download and upgrade to version 9.04 available on our downloads page and retest.2: Read Receipts are not send via web mail. It asks me if I want to send it, then show a small popup that it is sending it, but it is not actually sending it

Re: DSN Messages & read receipts
Hi,
Ass you can see bellow, I had NOTIFY=SUCCESS,FAILURE,DELAY in the log, but DSN is not coming, only "read" notification is sent back.
03/29/16 15:29:49 SMTP-IN 6D9B3089B7164EFDA5FE3024C81BED04.MAI 712 201.80.131.75 RCPT RCPT TO:<someone@yahoo.com.br> NOTIFY=SUCCESS,FAILURE,DELAY ORCPT=rfc822;someone@yahoo.com.br 250 Requested mail action okay, completed 43 111 me@mydomain.com.br
Any suggestion?

Re: DSN Messages & read receipts
Hi,
In your log snippet you are sending to a yahoo server which is the first SMTP-IN transaction from the client sending the message. You should see an SMTP-OU transaction with the Yahoo server further below in the log file. We only support/advertise DSN for inbound connections from remote mail servers that request a DSN notification during the RCPT command. It will not work for outbound sends to remote mail servers.

This means that if someone from any mail server in the globe send an e-mail to my customers will receive a "success delivery" bounce msg sent by Mailenable, but if any of my customers want a DSN for success delivery, it will never be sent back. Am I right?
If yes, this is a very funny.

Hi,
We only advertise DSN for inbound connections. DSN functionality is has not been fully implemented in MailEnable and thus why its not fully supported.

Re: DSN Messages & read receipts
Any news on this for version 9.5?
Re: DSN Messages & read receipts
Is there any plans to support this fully? A lot of people are asking for this feature.
