Help - NO SMTP server detected at this ip

Hi,
I get no smtp server detect at this ip error on running diagnose

telnet localhost works

local and external emails are not being sent or received. All IPs are bound in inbound. Please help.

I have disabled firewall
tested telnet and tried to send a message

After giving the subject and two carriage returns I DO NOT GET THe following:

250 Requested mail action okay, completed
QUIT
221 Service closing transmission channel
Connection to host lost.

Log file has this error:

The host was either not contactable or it rejected your connection. Socket Family = 2; Host=74.125.141.26; Port=25

I see in another thread that you are moving to a new server. Make sure your IP Addresses are the same.

I can telnet to port 25 of 74.125.141.26 btw from the internet if that helps so it looks partially set up correctly?

This could be anything otherwise :(

Maybe a good idea to move back to your old server and put this server in test mode. I have done it where all I have had to do is change Computername and IP once I got the test ME server working properly...

Seems your sending to a Gmail server and is rejecting your inbound message. What do you see within the SMTP activity and debug logs in respect to this send to Gmail? Do you receive nay bounce messages with URL's to troubleshoot? Here is article to assist in troubleshooting when sending to Gmail and other providers:
