imap folders

Post by Big_Eye »

I'm new to IMAP, so bear with me. I just installed the IMAP beta for ME Pro. Where do I create public folders? How does one access the public folders and can a user create private folders?

The IMAP service that is in Beta has not had the Folder sharing capabilities included. After testing with the Enterprise Beta version I have seen that implementation of public folders is included, I would imagine that the folder sharing for IMAP would be fairly simple to add if comparing to the high quantities of commands within RFC for IMAP.

Not sure what MailEnables spin on it is I would say that they must be working on it at present. The implementation is obviously going to be in Enterprise as the feature is there however I cannot find any way to configure the folders after I have turned the feature on. I guess it is an item that we will have to be patient for. :D

If you enable IMAP folders in the configuration, they are only useable with HTTP mail at present.
