Folders and email disappear - Windows Update

Post by rfwilliams777 »

A .net framework update (KB3186539) breaks the webmail where it will not display the folders and emails. Uninstalling the update fixes it...but bear this in mind.
I am using Ent 9.75.

Hi,

Can you please lodge a support ticket under "Upgrade" and provide access to the server so that we can check further.

Hi,

Updated kits with a fix for this can be found at:

http://www.mailenable.com/beta

If you are using older versions of MailEnable (or do not want to install these kits) you should be able to resolve this by editing the web.config file in the Mail Enable\bin\Netwebmail directory and adding the following between the <system.web> and </system.web> tags:

Code: Select all

<caching><cache disableExpiration="true"/></caching>
Uninstalling the 4.7 .Net upgrade would also resolve it.
