Greetings.
We are looking at purchasing the Enterprise edition after evaluating the free edition. We need the database capabilities, for one thing. However, I am having some problems grasping the timing of the migration function, specifically, where to deliver new mail. If I deliver mail to the new MailEnable server, most of it will bounce because the users don't exist yet until they've tried to log in and have their mailbox created.
If I keep delivering mail to the old server, it's a never-ending cycle of migration updates/syncing. I could recreate all the domains and users on the MailEnable server but they would not have a password because I cannot retrieve a readable password from the old server and the user would not be able to log in.
How do I handle this? Am I missing something? Do I simply keep the migration alive for a week and then let all those who haven't checked their email in that week just lose email? And if they haven't checked their email, how do I create their new account on ME?
Thanks,
Chris
