Urgent - METray doesnt works - MMC with MailEnable doesnt works

Post by crnunez » Sun Feb 25, 2018 6:11 pm

I'm using Windows Server 2016 Standard, 64 bits, MailEnable 9.80 Enterprise, .NET Framework 4, 4.5 etc. After cumulative update KB4077525 (2018-02-22) and restarted Windows Server 2016, METray.exe crashed with this data:
Fault bucket 1812625296071232358, type 5
Event Name: CLR20r3
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0

Problem signature:
P1: metray.exe
P3: 5a4ed027
P4: METrayNet
P6: 5a4ed027
P7: d
P8: e0
P9: System.InvalidOperationException

Also I can not use MailEnable Adminstration Tool (MMC) because It has a lot of erros. 1) I uninstall this update but it doesn't solve this problem, 2) I reinstall MailEnable several times but it doesn't solve this problem. 3) I reinstall this update again but it doesn't solve this problem. 4) sfc /scannow dont detect any problem neither DSIM.

My clients couldn't login to Webmail, until I change from 64 bits to 32 bits MailEnableAppPool, but the issue with METray is persistent and MMC with MailEnable only.

Do you have any patch or solution for this?

I installed the same patch you pointed out on a Windows 2016 server and did not experience the same errors. Please lodge a support ticket via our support form below and provide RDP login details or a Teamviewer session to the server so that we can troubleshoot further:
