I have one account that has 8 GB data and 5000+ messages in their email mailbox. I am using Outlook and also tried Thunderbird. The server is on the local network, so there is no internet lagg. This mailbox takes 4+ hours to synchronize. Now I know it is a lot of data, but it shouldn't take that long. it only took 15 minutes to migrate the data. This one connection is the only active one on the server.
Question is. How can I speed up IMAP syncing? Is there any registry patch or setting I can use?
IMAP Sync Slowwww.......
Re: IMAP Sync Slowwww.......
IMAP syncing doesn't have to go through the filters, right?
Anyone?

Re: IMAP Sync Slowwww.......
Hi,
Is there any Antivirus software running on the client machines? If so ensure that you disable email filtering for IMAP etc. You might want to try and install Thunderbird locally on the server and configure the IMAP account on the server to see if its a network issue.

No antivirus software. Thunderbird on the server is what I used. There are no network issues.
