Hi,
I've migrated Mailenable from one server running enterprise 3.63 to the latest 10.16 enterprise version.
The old server is using SQL mode for storing configuration and i used the provider migration utility in the new server too to convert to SQL mode. Provider migration utility is showing the following status now in new server:
--
Provider Availability Media Status
SQL server Installed Populated Active
--
However the postoffices or mailboxes are not listing in the mailenable mmc.
We are not able to connect to the mailboxes as well.
Also when we create a new postoffice, it is not showing in mmc. The files are getting created in C:\MailEnable2\Postoffices but no SQL entries nor entries in MMC are created.
Could any one help me on this?
Postoffice not listing/connecting after migration
Re: Postoffice not listing/connecting after migration
Hello,
Also is direct migration from Mailenable enterprise 3.63 to the latest 10.16 enterprise version supported?
Note that the configuration mode is SQL server.

Hi,
Did you create a 64bit ODBC DSN entry manually? The provider migration will only create the 32bit DSN.

Re: Postoffice not listing/connecting after migration
Hi,
Are there any errors reported within the Windows event log? If you run the MailEnable diagnostic report are there reported failures for SQL database connectivity? The next step would be to lodge a support ticket via the MailEnable support form and provide a technician with access to the server via RDP login or Teamviewer.
