HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

Post by glblack »

Hello everyone,

We were running the standard (free edition) of Mailenable 9.x and we decided to give it a go with the Enterprise premium 60 days trial (plenty of time to like it or hate it). During the "upgrade"/installation we chose to keep the existing configuration and we had no error during the installation process. We can send/receive e-mails just fine. The only issue arose when we tried using the webmail client. After the upgrade, there were missing buttons and links in the webmail interface and after typing in the user/password we got an ASP error. After searching on google for a bit, we found a link that recommended running the meinstaller.exe and choosing option 13. We did that, chose between net framework 2 and 4, both 32 and 64 bits. it was no go. Then we ran the option 2 in the same meinstaller.exe application and that did not seem to fix much.

We are running on windows server 2012 R2, IIS 8.5, Plesk 17
The error is the following. Apologies if this has been asked before, I have been looking for a fix for the last 3 hours but could not find anything related to it on the forums or on the mailenable knowledge base.

Thank you in advance for your help.
