ADMIN mail account to be able to manage more than one domain

Post by bootika »

Hello,

I have a customer that has 8 domains, each with their own e-mail accounts, and wants to administer all of these 8 domains using one ADMIN mail account. Right now I have to make 8 ADMIN e-mail accounts, one for each domain. It seems complicated, old school and not so flexible. Can I, somehow, make one ADMIN account manage a specific number of domains? It would really help..

PS. When I proposed to my client to give him 8 accounts to manage each domain, he said: You're kidding me, right?

Hi,

Set the mailbox to "SYSADMIN". It will then have privileges to edit other postoffices. When you login via a SYSADMIN account you will a drop down menu in the web admin interface to navigate to other postoffices.

I don't want to give him access to all my domains. Just to the specific ones he owns. Thank you

I think that the you need a centralised "Users" section in MMC admin. From where to be able to granullary edit users properties and permissions.
