Getting notification when using 3rd Part AntiVirus (Sophos)

Post by firefoxchris »

Good afternoon,

I have configured Sophos CLI AntiVirus within MailEnable Enterprise 10.22 (paid for) and it is working by removing the attachment but it seems to ignore my old filter that allowed me to be notified to an admin address when a message contained a virus.

Is it possible to use 3rd Party AV and also be able to configure a filter rule to run certain actions when a virus has tried to go through the MTA?

Also, is it still possible to delete the message entirely rather than just replacing the attachment.

Screenshots attached of configuration

Thanks

Hi,

You need to reorder your actions so that the "Notify Sender" is first in the list, otherwise it will delete the message first and not notify.
