Redirect status not updated in database

We use the MSSQL database option. When I change a redirect parameter in the MailEnable program the SQL database table does not change. The TAB file does change properly. Is there some delay here? I was trying to figure out the format since we are migrating servers (to a newer version of MailEnable on Plesk). The new version is using the TAB files so it looks like I could just write a script to copy those over, although I was hoping to just use the database version since I have an admin entering all the data manually.

Any input as to why the database isn't updated?

Hi,

What parameter is not changing when you edit the option in the administration console? What version of MailEnable are you referring to? If you run the MailEnable diagnostic report are there any errors relating to database connectivity? Also if you are trying to migrate MailEnable configuration and data from one server to another then its recommended that you follow the steps outlined within the following article: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=me020073

Hey Ian,

Your question prompted me to look at the provider configuration and I see now that TAB are active, not MSSQL so that answers that question. Sorry for not realizing that. My issue, not MailEnable. :D
