Changing the number of active migrations?

Post by kiamori » Sun Apr 25, 2021 7:18 pm

As per the instructions, https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/mecapture.pdf

This is not working,
How many mailboxes will are migrated at once?
Queued items are processed concurrently. A maximum of 10 items are migrated at once (prior to Version
7.04, this was 4). You can adjust this value by editing the following registry key:
Root: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\[Wow6432Node\]Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Migration
Value Type: DWORD_32
Value Name: Queue Processing Concurrency Limit
Value: Number of concurrent mailboxes to import. Default value is 10.
Its still stuck at 10 active migrations, what is the current way to increase the number of migrations past 10?

Hi,

Did you restart the MailEnable migration service after increasing the registry key value?

Ian, Yes I did. Also, I have three of the mailboxes that are reporting errors. One of them is

In Progress (Exchange Web Services) There is an error in the XML document (13305, 55).

for example. some of the others appear to be stuck but some of them are still going so I know its not the service on either server. Its currently only doing 10 at a time.

Hi,

Are you running MailEnable 10.34? If not then we suggest you try and upgrade to the latest version to see if this resolves the errors. If you are on the latest then can you submit a support ticket and provide access to the server so that we can inspect the relevant migration log files.

Yes, 10.34. I already created a ticket, no reply yet.
