smtp outbound multiple ip addresses

Post by myenable »

Hi all,

We've been using MailEnable for years with no problem for a single domain in a single server. Recently our user base has increased and because we are sending more emails to our users with Gmail addresses, we've started seeing some TempFails (Rate limit exceeded) from Gmail part. (this is defined as an unusual rate of emails coming from the same ip address)

So, in order to scale we've been looking at having more ip adresses in our server so that the outgoing emails can be sent in a roundrobin fashion from our multiple ip addresses. 1- Is this possible to do in MailEnable?

Another possibility would be to have different subdomains, e.g. mail1.myserver.com and mail2.myserver.com, each with it's own ip address. But theses would belong to same postoffice. 2- Is this possible with MailEnable?

Thank you,
Andre

No one? Am I going at it the wrong way?

Any feedback would be appreciated.
