1. Is "Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering" still useful if I've already enabled Postoffice level features "Deliver junk mail to Junk E-mail folder"?
My guess it's no longer in use as there will be no more spam in Inbox and my guess for "Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering" is that it ONLY works to filter incoming messages in Inbox. (ie, if PO level already let junk to deliver into Junk E-Mail folder, then this user defined feature is useless)
2. False Positive Spam from Gmail
I found incoming email from GMail/Outlook.com/hotmail.com often lands user's Junk box due to their SMTP server IP always listed in RBL lists, so RBL blacklist protection Mark it as Spam and send these email directly to Junk. Solution to white list GMail/Outlook.com/hotmail.com is possible, but not a wise move for sure, there must be other better methods to avoid/reduce false positive from Gmail/Outlook/Hotmail
A similar idea borrow from whitelisting Gmail/MS IP in greylisting, we can simply copy and paste the Pre-defined IP addresses provided by Mailenabled into SMTP whitelist, except for those non-IP oens (ie, characters ones such as gmail.com)

3. Add Number of Failed on RBL Blacklists, then directly DELETE such email
This feature is from another email server vendor, I found it's quite useful, as most of the time GMail/Outlook.com/hotmail.com IP Only listed in ONE of these RBL blacklist, so if it failed multiple times, say 2, then it's probably a spam IP, and IP from GMail/Outlook.com/hotmail.com normally De-listed themselves quickly as well (within minutes to 1-2 hours), is there a registry key that we can add this # of Matched RBL, then delete directly? or can you please consider adding this feature to the next release? Honestly, failing just one RBL generate high false positive.
4. Bayesian
Bayesian is working as ME Tray indicates the % captured.
However, some Junk email headers shows X-ME-Bayesian is 0.000000 how come?
ie, X-ME-Bayesian: 0.00000
5. X-ME-Spam: Low (Number)
I found email in Junk folder sometimes shows X-ME-Spam: Low (Number) in header, but some email don't show this X-ME-Spam: Low (Number) information at all, what triggers this information to be included? is it related to overall Spam Protection threshold result? This number means the result is from all combined active spam filters in Spam Protection?) If it's related to overall Spam Protection threshold result Low 40 Medium 60 High 80, shouldn't be all suspected spam/junkmail has this number in the header?
X-RBL-Result: Generic, Fail
X-ME-Content: Deliver-To=Junk
X-ME-Bayesian: 40.000000
X-ME-Spam: Low (50)
6. For user mailbox, can we setup a filter somehow to remove Junk directly if it's in the Junk mail box?
One way doing is is to disable Delivery Junk to Junk e-mail folder, then ask users to Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering themselves, set High (which is 80) to delete directly, but there is a chance false positive also got removed, any better suggestion please?
Many thanks again.

Re: Question regarding Spam: Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering, incoming Gmail always lands in Junk Mail box
Hi,
https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Enterprise/Bayesian_Filtering.html
https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Enterprise/Postoffice%20Mailbox%20Clean-Up%20Agent%20settings.html
The mailbox spam rules will only execute on the spam scores low, medium and high that are added via the spam protection script. If you have a global filter that is executing and marking the message with the "Deliver to junk email" header then the message will be delivered to junk by the global filter before the mailbox spam rule actions.1. Is "Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering" still useful if I've already enabled Postoffice level features "Deliver junk mail to Junk E-mail folder"?

Only way is to whitelist.2. False Positive Spam from Gmail

No option to do this. I've passed on the suggestion. But you may want to lodge theses suggestions your self via the following form: https://www.mailenable.com/suggest/suggestion.asp3. Add Number of Failed on RBL Blacklists, then directly DELETE such email

Most likely because you have not trained the dictionary. Please see:4. Bayesian

Yes the spam scores are added via the spam protection script. Are you sure that you have not whitelisted the sender address or IP address of the message without a score? Are the message without score in the users "Inbox" or "Junk E-mail" folder?5.
May I know if there is a option for global Quota Notification and Malbox Clearup agent, instead of going into each postoffice and setup the parameters? Thanks.

Re: Question regarding Spam: Enable Mailbox Spam Filtering, incoming Gmail always lands in Junk Mail box
Hi,
There is but it only does badmail and quarantine folders.
https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Enterprise/Global%20Mailbox%20clean-up%20agent.html
Otherwise you will need to use the Mepurge utility:

Thanks Ian, it would be nice to include all the agent tasks in postoffice to the global Mailbox Cleanup agent option in the next release.MailEnable-Ian wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 11:09 pmHi,

Especially for quota notification on global level.
