Hello,
I am working with a user sorting through spam mail so I can add them to my filters. This is mail that is in their Inbox they deemed as spam and forward it to me to inspect.
Here's the issue. I cannot find some of these emails in any logs. SMTP, MTA, Filters. I do not have an MTA pickup or Antivirus active.
Shouldn't all inbound email be passing through the filters log? The Filters seem to be working, just missing some log entries. Is there anything in ME that would bypass inbound email to the filters and/or SMTP log?
Emails not in the logs
Re: Emails not in the logs
I did realize that if I want to see all emails in the filters log, then the last filter should be Criteia 'All messages' and the action 'Stop all filters'
But doesn't explain why not all messages are in the other logs.

Re: Emails not in the logs
Hi,
It will only log in the Filters log file if a filter executes and triggers on criteria and actions on a message. It will not log if the filters does not trigger.
