I have an iPhone on iOS 14 that can't connect to the mail server since yesterday due to an error on the SSL certificate. But it is the only one (so far) that I know of, while other iPhones (with iOS 12), Android phones and Windows computers still can access the server.
Also the certificate on the server is with a certificate chain up to the newer X1 certificate from Let's encrypt, so it actually should be fine.
Is there a way to flush some cache, or otherwise double check that the certificate that Mailenable uses is the one that actually should be used?
I even updated the iPhone to the latest software release but that didn't help either. Any ideas on how to get that phone to connect again?
Let's Encrypt DST Root CA X3?
Re: Let's Encrypt DST Root CA X3?
Strange enough, but somehow the iPhone suddenly did connect again and it is now working. Not sure what solved the problem.
