Deleting a filter has stalled my mail server (Urgent)

Hi Guys,

I just went in to my Filters and removed a filter. During the deletion of the filter MailEnable stalled and stopped responding.

Now when i try to access my filters the it stalls MMC everytime.

Im using Ent1.1

What should i do

Hi,

Navigate to the Filters directory C:\program files\mailenable\Config\Filters and locate a file with .BLK extension. Delete this file to resolve the problem. Did you upgrade from an earlier verison of Pro or Enterprise?

That did the trick.

Yes i upgraded from pro to ent not long ago.

That was my other question.

In my win program list i have 2 instances. Mail En Pro and Mail En Ent

Can i safely remove the Pro version without hurting Ent?

Hi,

Yeah shouldnt be a problem in removing that from the windows program list, ensure that the Enterpise link is looking at the correct path for the Enterprise .msc file.
