SpamWord Antispam System

Post by lucioa » Wed Mar 05, 2008 11:10 am

SpamWord is a software antispam that integrates him to
Mailenable through the service MTA.
The graphic interface makes the management of the messages
filtered by the system very simple and fast.
Is possible to filter the messages checking the correctness
of the recipient email, the name the attachemants, the
header, the language or the whole comprehensive message of
content of the attachemants. Besides are configurable the
classical whites and black list and the filter bayesian.
these and other are some of the available filters.
The filtered messages are saved in a specific folder for
every email, in this way is possible to manage them through
the interface web of mailenable.
Included in the software there is the option to save the
mails organized for date of creation.

Spamword works very well!

Post by swasi » Wed Mar 12, 2008 2:26 pm

I've tried Spamword on my Mailenable Professional: it works very well!
Just a question: is there any problem of coexistence with antivirus software? On my server I use Mcafee, apparently without problems.

Thank you

There are no compatibility problems with any antivirus because spamword works independently through service MTA mailenable.

Dear Lucioa,
I downloaded Spamword and I'm satisfied with how it works, but I still have a problem.
My Mailenable Professional server manage 4 different domains, about 150 email address and I can't stop spam message written by cyrillic characters (from Russia, I suppose).

So, how can I configure Spamword to block these email??
Please help me! Thanks

Is very simple:
open Spamwordmanager and click filter and then on SpamWordlanguage.
look the line to the language you want to filter.
For example, to block the Cyrillic :
*spamword* Cyrillic (Windows) ----------------------> windows-1251
And change it by removing the first part.
Leaves only:
Save settings.

Does the Demo Work??

Post by mscholl69 » Tue Mar 18, 2008 11:18 pm

This may sound like a stupid question, but...
I downloaded the trial version and expected, after installing and configuring it, that I would see it blocking spam or indicating that it identified spam. It doesn't so am I missing something or does it only work if you register/purchase it. Not that I mind donating, heck if it works I would be more then happy to donate to a product like this. It is just that I don't want to by a product that I can validate will actually work for my customers.

I am running the latest version of Mail Enable Professional.
Thanks in advance for your input.

The software in trial version blocks spam.

Here you can find the limitations of software in the trial: ... &Itemid=25

Be careful because I working to fix a bug that occurs when in settings date format of your operating system you have: dd:mm:yyyy, you must change it dd/mm/yyyy, Otherwise To solve the problem you need to set blank in the dropdown choice of viewing period (today, yesterday ,....)
into spamword-->main-->logs/spam
