TrendMicro and MailEnable

Post by vipko »

We are thinking buying MailEnable Enterprise, but i need to test it little more expecialy regarding antivirus.

We use TrendMicro Worry-Free Business Security client/server, so if anyone can help me what is the string to put it in MailEnable so it will work fine i would aprishiate it.

Thx

Well any answer is good. Even it is not working. But no, it is easyer to advertise 3rd party antivirus integration and when someone asks, no answer.

Realy great support guys. You really make me to buy MailEnable.

I think i will go to SM, because at least support is lightyears better than this.

Hi,

We have not conducted any tests using Trend micro Antivirus with MailEnable. If the AV application contains a command line scanner that returns codes then it may be possible to integrate within the MailEnable AV plug-in window.

Information on how to configure a custom command line anti-virus scanner with MailEnable can be found within the following KB article: http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Ar ... D=me020056

How to configure MailEnable's anti-virus plug-in:

Hi,

Have you tried setting up the Interscan Messaging Hosted security. If I am not mistaken it is inculded with the worry free ... and it does not need implementation within the mailserver.
