Hi all,
I am able to configure and work with multiple IMAP Accounts (which are all hosted on the same ME Server - but on different Postoffices) in Thunderbird (v17.0)
So this perfectly working.
I am able to configure and work with ONE CalDav Calendar (no matter to which of the multiple IMAP Accounts it belongs) into Lightning by using URL like
http://[server:8443]/calendar/[mailbox@postoffice]/calendar
This is working perfectly as well (even with Thunderbird/Lighning restarts/reboots).
When I am going to configure MULTIPLE CalDav calendars into TB/Lightning by using different accounts with above URL e.g.:
http://[server:8443]/calendar/[mailbox-1@postoffice-A]/calendar
http://[server:8443]/calendar/[mailbox-2@postoffice-B]/calendar
http://[server:8443]/calendar/[mailbox-3@postoffice-C]/calendar
This is perfectly working too when I am configuring it and then using it, UNTIL I am doing a restart of TB/Lightning.
I then will be asked (as much a I have different calendars cofigured) for e MEHttpmail username/pw.
But in the dialog there is NO Indication to what account this dialog relates too, so you have to 'guess' and do lengthy try&error by populating the dialog with all possible credentials until it stops asking me.
It seems to me, that TB is not able to identify and/or save a username/PW related to the configured Calendars, as the Login-URL is the same for every Calendar (mailbox@postofice combination).
This way it's kinda of not usable for me, as I cant go through this credential trial&error loop every time i have to (re-)start my Thunderbird/Lightning.
Anyone out there with this kind of setup working?
Any ideas on how to mitigate/resolve?

A fix (from the MailEnable end) would be include the resource in the SASL realm challenge, so that when it is reported - you can see which resource you are being challenged for.
A potential issue with this is that it will not cache credentials for the realm as it did before - but where there are multiple sets of credentials for different resources - it is necessary to have different realms (as you pointed out).
MailEnable's HTTPMail module already challenges with the resource name for ICS and WebDAV resources, so the change is simple enough to challenge for Challenge for carddav/caldav. I will create the issue in the register, and make a note to action this thread when the change is available.

@nildachang:
this is/was already addressed/fixed by ME (Andrew was of great help/assistance).
According to my tests/knowledge this is fixed in 6.77 (available as download for a few days now).
I already asked Andrew to flag this thread as [SOLVED]...
