AVG set correctly, but still getting virus

Post by royancorp » Sun Apr 24, 2005 6:50 pm

Hi,,

I just installed latest version of AVG (7.0) and set it same way mentioned in this forum and FAQ's, when I test setting from ME MMC I got no error, but when I send virus attached to emails, MTA pass the mails, any one have any clue, consider that everything is enabled and done by the book.

Thank you

Hi,

Ensure the filtering for the server is enabled. Navigate to Servers>localhost>filters and right click to open the properties window. In the opening window you can enable/disable the filtering.

Have you created a virus filter? Navigate to Messaging Manager>Postoffices>Filters and create a virus filter withthe appropriate actions.

regards,
