Contacts not syncing

Contacts not syncing

I have an android phone and setup a corporate connection to ME. Email is syncing fine but when I create a contact on the phone, it does not go to ME and when I create a contace in outlook, it doesn't get to the phone. Webmail reflects outlook but not the new phone contacts. What might be going on? I hit "sync now" and it shows that contacts are synced but the new items are not showing up.

As a followup, I have totally reset my phone and now only some of the contacts have transferred. I setup an android tablet and low-and-behold, all contacts synced. So, given that this is a newly reset phone, why wouldn't I be able to get all my contacts?

What version of Android is running on both devices? What model devices?
