[SOLVED] Domain deleted but we cannot email any users on the new server

Post by northerncs »

We deleted a website and the new owner of the domain name setup the domain on another server. We deleted the website, the all mail enable accounts and DNS records and we still can't email the account. We are getting this error (which is the same message as if the email was still in mail enable)

Message could not be delivered. Error was: The email address is not available on this system

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Hi,

It means the email address is still present in the ADDRESS-MAP.TAB file. Open the file up in Windows Notepad and search for the address and delete the line and save the file. Did you delete the postoffice and domain in MailEnable?
