Hi,
We have noticed that the PostOffice Public folder feature is available when accessing a mailbox through Windows 10 Mail App MUA. We have tried disabling this everywhere we can find but the folder remains present and mail items can be written/read from it.
The Windows Live Mail MUA does not "see" the Public folder.
We do not know how long this has been the case. It has come to our attention because a user moved a quantity of confidential email into the public folder and was then informed by another user, that these messages were visible to them! Rather embarrassing.
This is a major security flaw.
