OK,... same results... I started looking at the different areas and have noticed that the inbound Queue has 4 Undelivered messages including my latest attempt.

Hi,

Ok if they are set to undelivered then it means that the MTA agent has not routed the message to the outgoing queue or the message has not been fully accepted. Try an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird instead of your Putty tests.

Hi,

You need to disable the SMTP smarthosting option as this is not needed.

If the smart host is disabled, how will the correct server be chosen for the relay?

As I thought. disabling the smart host messes up the send process. Here is the log of the latest attempt:

"The IP you're using to send mail is not authorized..." from Gmail indicates that the IP you are sending from is considered to be one that is prevented from running a mail server. Please see:

https://support.google.com/mail/answer/10336

So you may need to relay through your ISP mail server, or speak to them about the issue if you want to send email directly.
